Hunger Games is such a great read that never gets old! This book inspired me a lot when I was a little kid and when I was reading it! I would always pretend that I was in the Games myself, and I had all my friends play with me! I loved Collins's way of writing this beautiful novel! Katniss Everdeen will forever be one of my favorite heroines!
This book is so cool !!
Even if it's sad because a lot of people died in the story. The main character Katniss Everdeen is so cool, she's so brave and smart, she always finds a way to survive.
I love this book its about:
Panem is split up into 12 districts. Each year, every district is forced to randomly choose two tributes--one girl and one boy--to fight in the annual Hunger Games. A fight to the death on live television. Katniss Everdeen takes her sister's place when she is called to be the tribute of the 74th annual Hunger Games.
I loved this book because of the utopian society in this book and how the Capital treats all the districts as if they were animals and yet they live like kings and queens.
This is my favorite book series and I think that Suzanne Collins did an amazing job. I finished this book extremely quickly and found myself always coming back. I enjoyed this book a lot.
The Hunger Game Series is THE MOST AMAZING AND FANTASTIC AND FASCINATING AND AWESOME BOOK I'VE EVER READ IN MY WHOLE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the authors idea of the games and how it works was amazing!! I had a lot of fun reading it. I loved the part were she rescued Peeta and she fought at the Cornucopia to get him the medicine it was awesoe. LOVED IT!!!
I just LOVE the hunger games series. I cannot disagree more with the people who hate this fantastic series. Surprisingly, my favorite character is Haymitch Abernathy. This is a bit strange, considering his drunkness. But I admire him for his skill when he was in the past hunger games. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you'll know when you read Catching Fire. I just love his slyness and intelligence. Don't let his habit of drinking fool you; he is a great guy. Somehow, I like him even more for his drunkness.
I don't understand how people read the Hunger Games I read the first part of the book which was found slow and boring I just couldn't get into the Book.
This book is great! It is a real page turner! It is a bit violent though so young children might not want to read it. Minecraft fans may know the Minecraft hunger games were based on the Hunger Games in this book. A must read! <3
I don't know how people could like this book/series. First of all, the first book was ok. Really predictable ( I mean Katniss and a guy get chosen... ), kinda slow plot and not much actual detail or emotion. The second book however, was so bad I didn't even finish it. Anyways, this series/book was dry and boring.
I love this book!!! I have never read a book twice but I made an exception for this book:)
I FELL IN LOVE with this book IMMEDIATELY!!!!! It is such a wonderful dystopian/romance/fiction/adventure novel! The Hunger Games is now one of my favorites!
I believed the hunger game's hype and read the book hungrily about 5 times over after reading it the first time. I only do that on the best books. At first I was worried that the hunger games would be just as bad as the gregor the overlander series (her first series) trust me I raved about that series. (Read my comment if you dare) the hunger games was awesome to say the least. Peeta was and has always been my fav character throughout the series. Katniss was cool but I didn't understand her as much I guess as Peeta. Ok, just read the series if you like the books in the list beside this book named, Books of Awesomeness. Eat, Sleep, Read
reminds me alot of the modern youth situation. You are not really certain what to make of teens. are they innocent or not? is it ok to think of them as sexy? and this whole thing about gladiators, that is interresting!
I am absolutely obsessed with this series! I overlooked this series when it first came out and decided to give it a try this past weekend. There is so much going on at all once. The words paint a picture that makes me feel as though I am there alongside each character. Definitely a must read for tweens, teens, and adults.
