It does contain some of the best scenes ever written, but it's not done in a countdown sort of fashion, nor is it numbered. The scenes are sorted by theme (romance, horror, revenge, war, juvenile, etc.) and come from an eclectic mix of media (books, films, and plays alike). It was interesting, but not overwhelmingly helpful. For those who wish to know only those scenes everyone is talking about, this may be the best way to get an overview of the bits and pieces. If you're not looking for something to help you specifically and just want to read, I'd recommend it.
