This sequel is a great verbal treat to those like me who saw The Phantom of The Opera at Albert Hall on DVD, with the same actors as the original. In this Ramin as the Phantom is has a much more melo touch to him then in POTO At Albert Hall, (Namely the final lair scene where he yelled behond the top of his lungs GO NOW AND LEAVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

This CD is for now the closest you'll get to seeing the original Love Never Dies London Cast Prodution.

Hopefully Mr.Webber will get good enough praise with the Love Never Dies Aussie Production on DVD to convice him to film and re-release a DVD with the original London Cast or at least Ramin and Serria again.

A fitting sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. Great music and characters. The plot is very similar to the original execpt this time with Christine's son Gustave. The layout of action and plot also similar, but not in a reptitive or annoying way. I loved listening to this recording. Excellent work, Andrew Lloyd Webber!

The Phantom of the Opera is incomparable in music and score. So when I discovered Love Never Dies among the library racks, I could hardly believe it. A movie sequel is never as good as the first. How could Love Never Dies possibly be any different?
This musical, however, defied the "cheap sequel" tradition and Andrew Lloyd Webber brought beautiful voices and lyrics as memorable as any, and once again left the music singing in my head.

The Phantom: "My own flesh and blood. And even he recoils at the sight of me. Just like his mother."

Gustave: "Where is Father? He should be here!"
Christine: "Gustave, your Father, your real father, is here."
