I put this book on top of an already tall stack of gardening-themed library books thinking it might be fun for a quick browse. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. I found myself actually reading through it, not just browsing. It has some wonderful, practical ideas that can be applied to small spaces. Great photos and easy to read.

I enjoyed this book. While it would best suit someone with lots of property, I read several good idea and tips for my suburban homesteading such as soil testing, food preservation, how to make a rain barrel, crop rotation, bread making, and more!
