I really enjoyed watching Rise of the Guardians! The story line is unique and creative, and the characters were all very likeable. It is a movie that I found to be very memorable, and years later I still remember how enjoyable and entertaining it was. It is fun to see a story that incorporates all of the well-known characters of our world, like Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, Jack Frost, etc. The entire movie was very original and engaging! I would definitely recommend this movie to other viewers! It was clever, and is a film that people of all ages can enjoy! 4/5

Rise of the Guardians is an epic story of the beloved fable of Jack Frost finding himself. Jack is recruited by the Man on the Moon to join the Guardians, Santa Claus or North, the Easter Bunny, Sand Man and the Tooth Fairy to stop Pitch Black evil plan involving the use of child fears. Rise of the Guardians has action scenes with great animation. The 3D animation is consistent throughout the movie and the colors as well. This is defiantly DreamWorks best animated movie since How to Train Your Dragons. DreamWorks should really consider a squeal using other characters from William Joyce’s Guardians of Childhood.

OMG! This is the best movie you will ever see in you life! Giving it a 5/5 is an understatement! Your life will be complete after watching this! It is based around Jack Frost and the other guardians who fight an evil boogeyman named Pitch Black. Who schemes to overthrow the Guardians by obliterating children's belief in them. It falls to a winter sprite named Jack Frost to thwart Pitch's plans and save the Guardians from destruction. My favourite character has to Jack Frost, he is kind-hearted, smart and funny. I also love the rivalry between Jack Frost and the Easter Bunny. My favourite part has to be…..all of it. I would recommend this movie to everybody, old and young. It is sooo amazing. 5/5.

I enjoyed this movie. I noticed that Santa seemed to be Russian. I felt that they could have done a little better with his Elves. I got a kick out of The Easter Bunny's Aussie Accent. I also think that the Tooth Fairy (and Her little ones ) were beautiful.

This movie was pretty good though a little cheesy and had the feel of a "Christmas if you just believe" kinda thing to it. However Jack is an awesome character and I suggest the books by William Joyce since they are even more awesome and you can connect to Santa, the bunny, toothiana, sandman, and most of all Nightlight (so sad they took him out) more in the books.

All I can say is wow! This movie was much better than I expected! I really didn't think it'd be that great, but I was surprised! It's not just another animated movie. The plot is very interesting, and the characters were developed very well. It has it's LOL parts and it's boo hoo parts. Love how they basically made everything we talk about to our kids real!

When Pitch Black (aka The Bogeyman) unleashes a plague of bad dreams upon the world’s children the enigmatic Man in the Moon calls upon Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Sandman, and a reluctant Jack Frost—-collectively known as “The Guardians”—-to defend the little ones from harm. A big colourful comic book of a film with brightly animated characters, riotous action sequences, and a delightful sense of whimsy which feeds into some of our earliest childhood fantasies: from a big boisterous (and decidedly Soviet) Kris Kringle and his rocket sleigh to an endearingly somnolent Sandman adrift on a cloud of golden dust, a rainbow-hued Tooth Fairy and her flock of little hummingbird helpers, and an ill-tempered Easter Rabbit armed with boomerangs and a thick Aussie accent. And then there’s that supporting cast of muttering yetis, clumsy elves, two-legged pastel eggs, and a menacing herd of fiery-eyed nightmares. But it is the interplay between Pitch Black and Jack Frost which takes centre stage for both are pariahs in their own right and both yearn to become real in the eyes of preschoolers everywhere, albeit for two very different reasons. A clever script replete with sly visuals and presented with the kind of youthful zeal that makes you wish you hadn’t grown up quite so fast.

Very enjoyable even for adults. Good to watch during the Christmas season.

When it comes to the traditional preschool age characters, old_toto believes that a film maker should exclude any portrayals of death, anything scary, or threatening about the story line or characters. There were no redeemable benefits in presenting these main characters of childhood fantasy as armed combatants seeking revenge. Confusion and chaos prevails in this movie, not only in the story line but in the building of characters as well. Not recommended for anyone under 8 years of age. There are scores of better movies to view than this one - even for pre-teens and teens.
