One of those movies where i think that im just not the right audience to appreciate the story, or is it just not so great?

This movie had a rather shallow plot as bet I can determine. There was just too much staring and waiting - obviously for affect. It dragged along not revealing the point of the story until the end, and I didn't find it worth the wait.

It seems like a realistic portrayal of being a teenager. Larry has some tough challenges to face between the adults and the other kids. It kind of reminds me of River's Edge, although that was a different time and place (and maybe a bit more Hollywood).

One of the best small Canadian films in recent years. Northwest Territories-located story whose only half famous name is Benjamin Bratt in a supporting but well-written role. Teens doing hot knives, getting bullied, being sassy at school and learning about love. Don't look for impeccable acting, but you can expect an intriguing, well-told tale of the tribulations of a youth and his pals and enemies trying to cope with a world that's seldom easy.

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained and interesting. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the price to rent from a Red Box. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.
