Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Jim Gaffigan's hilarious commentary on all types of food is not ot miss!

This book was one of the Common Grounds Bookclub selections and the book was roundly panned by the majority of the club members. The book was a comedic collection of Jim's musings on food. I personally found it side-splitting funny.

Since Gaffigan often discusses food in his stand up routines, this audiobook, read by the author, was basically an 8 hour Jim Gaffigan special. If such a thing appeals to you, this audiobook likely will too.

This book will make you laugh out loud or giggle uncontrollable. Comedian Jim Gaffigan talks about all things food, including his thoughts and revelations! Listen to hear him read out loud or read for a good laugh, either way this book is a treat!

Definitely listen to this book if you can. Jim reads the book himself. I believe it could have been a different experience had I not listened to it.

Whether or not you share Jim Gaffigan’s taste in foods and observations about eating, you will laugh out loud. Listening to this while preparing dinner, I had to stop what I was doing because I was laughing so hard.

When I think of an intersection between food and comedy, I think of Jim Gaffigan. This book does pull from his stand-up routines, but there is some original content as well. Overall it's a light and quick read with the chapters being short and grouped into stand-up like bits. If you're a rigorously healthy person, this book may not be relatable but what it will do is elevate your sense of betterment just as much as your instagram posts about wheatgrass and the correct way to do squats, so give it a read!

If you are looking for an add-on for "Dad is fat," this is NOT it. This book stays true to its title, "Food." Each section talks about different kinds of food and his opinion on them. And if you know that ahead of time, you are in for a great book. It's a super quick read, but I know you will laugh out loud! I've never been one to actually laugh out loud, but this one got me to do it numerous times!
