The official reviewers use the term "dreamlike" to cast this book's vagueness in positive light. I felt that the lack of focus (if you've never encountered a vague children's book--give it a shot) and real emotions or thoughts of substance regarding the character's move to a different locale were not fit for a child's book. I suspect that the author wrote this book for her own therapy.
