Had all sorts of things going but still maintained one theme "treasure is here". Young 12 year old Emma lives with her grandmother and older brother in Tennessee. Everyone is spunky and lively throughout this book of mystry. I liked the country style storytelling and character rich people. The supernatural drove the story, but in a very positive way not the typical creepy ghost story. Everyone had a big heart especially Emma who discovers her true destiny. The clues were spaced out a bit and at times would focus on side items instead of the main issues. That was just the style of book though; just to meader a bit.

Natalie Lloyd's books are beautifully written - the way she writes her descriptions and the way the characters describe their world transports you there.
