This is a great storytime book with a clear story told in a minimum of words while teaching a good lesson about thinking of others.
LOVE the illustrations! and the story is a great little message for children.
Cute. Very cute.
This is a book for adults - but kids get it. Do you look for the extraordinary in the ordinary? Do you think of others before yourself? Who are the types of people out there who might kill your idea? What ultimately brings you joy?
This book is awesome. Through somewhat understated characterizations, the bear attempts to win over his friends and neighbors, as he takes a gift to his friend, mouse. The commentary on human character is so much deeper than the content of this book. While it is so truly wonderful for the "small person" audience it was intended for, I have found many great uses in sharing with others in my professional office environment. The lesson - of persistence in working through a good idea, as everyone you pass attempts to shoot it down - is something we all need to carry through our daily lives. PLEASE READ AND SHARE THIS BOOK!!!
The entire bear series is utterly enchanting. Be sure to check out Mr. Foley's website: thankyoubear.com
