Monsters under Manhattan-who would have thought? The prose is often stifling and the ideas farfetched but somehow I kept on plowing as I do like the Pendergast character-you can keep ALL the museum stuffed shirts and NYPD inepts. Was it worth the plowing-probably not!

Even better than Relic. Excellent read. Good thriller and attention holder. I was sorry when it was over.

Fun read. Entertaining and fast-faced. Make sure you read the previous book, "Relic," before reading this one so that you understand everything that happens in the plot

Museums and monsters are a great pairing. Try working at one late at night. It is totally creepy.
