Narnia, the land between the lamp-post and the Castle of Cair Paravel, where animals talk, where magical things happen and where the adventure begins. Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are returning to boarding school when they are summoned from the dreary train station (by Susan's own magic horn) to return to the land of Narnia, the land where they had ruled as kings and queens and where their help is desperately needed.

I am not sure what I think of this book. Because it is written by C.S. Lewis, it has to be good, and it is, but there are so many blows to my heart that I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I could have.

I thought I wouldn't enjoy this audiobook because I don't normally like woman readers but she did an amazing job. I think she was one of the best readers for the series. I even cried at parts. This book isn't my favourite in the series, but I love all of them.

I was surprised by how much I'd forgotten about this book and how different it was from the movie. I like the book a lot more! I listened to part of the audiobook read by Lynn Redgrave. I like her in other roles but I did not think she fit this book very well. My least favorite of the audiobooks (2.5 stars for audio)

It's amazing all the little details you forget. I'm enjoying this refreshing my memory as I go through the Chronicles of Narnia. This one was good, but I don't like it as well as its prequel, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
