This movie was watchable made me chuckle a few times. It was my first Madea movie and I think it won't be my last.

This movie was quite boring and disappointing considering some of Tyler Perry's earlier work featuring Madea were hilarious and worth the time. well, that is what i get for wasting my time with anything with halloween in the title...even if its TP!!! never again

I tried watching a Madea movie (maybe the first one) and couldn't make it all the way through. I begrudgedly watched this entire film and it wasn't funny and it wasn't scary. Maybe Madea would be funny in a 7 minute sketch. 1h30m movie... No. If you like Madea, maybe you'll like this one. Everyone else won't.

I'd give this a quarter of star if I could. If Tyler Perry is going to make a comedy, MAKE IT 100% COMEDY! There were a lot of funny moments in this movie but many of the jokes fell flat. He absolutely needs to cut out the crap about needing to beat children. I find them disgusting, not funny. (Oh and I'm not saying that as someone who never got their butt beat with a belt. I did and it didn't make me a better person. If you're too stupid to come up with a punishment that doesn't involve violence, then you shouldn't be procreating.)
Also leave the preachy crap out of the comedy please or else it isn't a comedy anymore in my opinion. As an actor he pulls off the comedy MUCH better than the drama.
