A page from Gertrude Homan’s autograph book. The book was from the production of “Partners”, which ran at the Madison Square Theatre in 1888. Ms. Homan performed in the playat the age of six. On April 25, 1888 the players in that production presented her with a leatherbound scrapbook, which she used for the next decade to collect autographs and display letters she received. Many friends and fellowplayers wrote sentiments to her.
