Harrington, Be It Resolved, Whereas: The citizens of Medford have learned with pride that Mrs. Amelia Earhart Putnam has succeeded in her solo flight across the Pacific Ocean, and Whereas: The City of Medford should recognize the remarkable achievement performed by one of its former citizens, Be It Resolved: That the Honorable Board of Aldermen of the City of Medford go on record highly commending Mrs. Amelia Earhart Putnam, Queen of the Air, for her extraordinary achievement in her solo flight over the Pacific Ocean. Be It Further Resolved: That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to Mrs. Amy O. Earhart and Mrs. Morrissey in Medford.
