Book with handmade paper hand-bound in leather printed in 1906 in New York City, NY, U.S.A.  Catalog of the jade collection belonging to Heber R. Bishop.    24-3/4"l  x 19-1/4"w x 5"dCopy 85 of 100.Large  leather-bound book on a private jade collection donated to the Metropolitan  Museum of Art in NYC. Volume one of two.    Heber R.  Bishop was a Medford financier and collector. The books were the costliest made at the time. Bishop's jade collection was the most valuable art collection owned by an American at the time. All plates/tools for covers made by George DeLacy and all of the type and plates were destroyed after making 100 copies.From the collection of the Medford Public Library
