The group is probably at Wrightsville Beach, NC.John Dillard Bellamy, Jr. (1854-1942) was the sixth child of Dr. John D. and Eliza Harriss Bellamy.  He attended Davidson College and received his law degree from the University of Virginia.  He was the attorney for the City of Wilmington, NC the attorney for Brunswick County, president of the New Hanover Bar Association, North Carolina State Senator from 1891-1892, and author of books on Major General Robert Howe and General Alexander Lillington.  He is buried in Oakdale Cemetery. Bellamy Mansion, the family home built at 503 Market Street at the eve of the Civil War, is now museum focused on history and design arts.Anne Thornton Spence Bellamy (1889-1970) was the wife of William McKoy Bellamy, son of John D. Bellamy, Jr.  She was president of the Catherine Kennedy Home in Wilmington, a member of the North Carolina Society of Colonial Dames of America, and former registrar of the National Society of Colonial Dames.  She is buried in Oakdale Cemetery.
