Federal officers watched an apparent crucifixion at Wounded Knee on Easter. Also on Easter, 70 people left Rosebud on a protest march to Wounded Knee; a federal spokesman said they would be turned back outside the village. Arrest warrants were issued for people connected to an airdrop of supplies into the village. The photograph shows a Deputy Marshal with Easter eggs given to the marshals.
