Book - 1863
Rate this:
Found in the forests of south-eastern Australia, the wombat is a small marsupial about 40 inches (1 meter) in length. Interestingly, the wombat is the only marsupial to have a backward pouch. The wombat benefits from the backward pouch when digging its burrows and avoiding piling dirt inside the pouch or over its young.
