Rate this:
This painting depicts Attila, leader of the Huns. It is unknown precisely when he was born, but Attila ruled the Huns from 434 to 453 A.D. The Hunnic Empire in the fifth century was vast, stretching from the Ural to the Rhine River and from the Danube River to the Baltic Sea. The Huns were known for their exceptional horsemanship; mounted warfare was their speciality.
