Book - 1862
Rate this:
Livingstone's letter to Washington is mainly about his ship The Pioneer. Livingstone is hoping that Washington can sell it to a group in Australia, adding that it is in excellent condition, not leaking and that the engines are almost perfect. Livingstone is hopeful that he can instead import a ship made of iron that can help patrol Lake Nyassa (modern day Lake Malawi) and curb the slave trade.
