Before I fall is kind of a weird movie because of the events that happen in it. Samantha Kingston (Zoey Deutch) who is a girl who attends high school and she wakes up and goes to school and goes to a party at night but gets in a car crash and dies, but wakes up the next day and relives the same day all over again and gets in a car crash again and relives the same day again, and as days pass by, she tries to fix or unravel the secrets of the people that she sees in that day or the people closest to her and try to see how she can make it better and find out what is missing. I rate this movie 3 out of 5. @BirdieBooks of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

"Overall, I enjoyed Before I Fall very much so. It’s a movie based on a YA book and though it’s easy to tell that, I don’t think it super dramatic like those can be sometimes. I thought the acting was good across the board but Zoey Deutch really stands out in this film, she truly manages to hold her own and her character is compelling..."

It's a do over! She gets to relive her life & do again until she understands it & gets it right! Somehow she lost her true self & thought she was better & cooler than others even too good for her family. And that can happen when a person hangs out with maybe the wrong group. They become rude or think they're better than others. It's interesting how people guard their feelings & hurt others when they're the ones hurting the most, like Lindsay (Bullys do that). My daughter & I saw this, we liked it. But she was sad about the ending

Not bad. Not great. Groundhog Day but without the humour and a large dose of introspection.

This is a fantastic adaptation of Lauren Oliver's novel of the same name. There's a disturbing message regarding themes of bullying, suicide, displacement, and recognizing when you are privileged and others are not. Highly recommend both the film and the novel.
