As a big fan of Tea Leoni, I have carefully avoid watching this series - - not difficult, since I pretty much gave up on American TV long ago. The description says: // navigates the maze of politics to protect America and affect global issues \\ which should sicken anyone familiar with the SecState history up to the present; it is to protect the super-rich and project their potential for more riches! The show is very current, stating that Leoni's character was a former CIA analyst; under SecState Hillary Rodham Clinton, an extraordinary number of former CIA types were hired at State - - that is excluding the usual number of officially active CIA types who use the Foreign Service as their cover. Best acting presentation of a State Department type/ambassador, was Bruce Davison's brilliant, really brilliant portrayal in the film, 8 MM 2 [which contains a good deal of nudity, so be forewarned]. Utterly accurate as well.
Usually the SecState position goes to the minions of the super-rich, or those multi-billionaires like John [Forbes, Winthrop, Dudley] Kerry, great-grandson of Francis Blackwell Forbes, one of the top global dope dealers of his time.
