This is a 2011 British drama written and directed by Paddy Considine. At the beginning, Joseph looks like a good-for-nothing guy with explosive anger. I'm pretty sure everybody would hate him to the bone. Hannah appears just like a Jesus's mother. As you view the film along, you will see a lot of profoundly uncomfortable scenes and gratuitous swearings. At a time, for example, her abusive husband urinates on her. Gradually, you'll see her hidden sufferings. The real revelation in this film is the performance of Olivia Colman as Hannah. She plays superbly as a religious yet mentally-and-physically-suffering woman. In any case, it is a gripping and thought-provoking piece of work.
